Welcome to Start Right Systems. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Start Right Systems website, software, applications, digital services, QR-code equipment tracking services, and related products and services. By creating an account, purchasing a Start Right Systems product or service, registering equipment, accessing the platform, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1.1. What Start Right Systems LLC offers
Start Right Systems provides a digital platform designed to help commercial HVAC contractors, technicians, facility managers, equipment owners, and other authorized users organize and document HVAC equipment information throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Start Right Systems is a documentation, communication, and equipment management platform. It does not replace qualified HVAC professionals, manufacturers' requirements, applicable codes, inspections, testing, engineering judgment, or other professional services.
1.2. User Responsibilities
You are required to create an account to use the services of Start Right Systems. You are responsible for ensuring that information entered into the platform is accurate and complete. Start Right Systems is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or improperly entered information supplied by users.
1.3. Equipment Records
Start Right Systems allows users to create and maintain digital records associated with HVAC equipment. Start Right Systems does not independently verify the accuracy of information entered by users. A Start Right Systems QR code provides access to the information associated with the applicable equipment record. The presence of a QR code or completed checklist does not constitute a certification that equipment is safe, compliant, properly installed, properly commissioned, or operating correctly.
1.4. Professional Responsibility
Start Right Systems does not perform HVAC installation, startup, inspection, repair, maintenance, engineering, or certification services. The Service is intended to assist qualified professionals and businesses with documenting and managing those activities. Start Right Systems does not guarantee that completion of a digital checklist means an HVAC system is ready for operation.
1.5. Equipment and Shipping
When purchased, Start Right Systems may provide a physical QR-code label or sticker associated with an equipment record. Start Right Systems is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect addresses, weather, damage occurring after delivery, or improper installation or placement of a QR-code label.
1.6. Pricing
The applicable price will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase. Payment must be successfully processed before the applicable service or physical QR-code product is provided. Start Right Systems reserves the right to change pricing for future purchases. Price changes will not retroactively change the price of a completed purchase.
1.7. Refunds and Cancellations
Because certain Start Right Systems products may involve the creation and shipment of a unique QR-code label and equipment record, purchases may be non-refundable once processing or production has begun. If a customer believes a product was incorrectly produced, damaged during shipment, or otherwise requires replacement, the customer should contact Start Right Systems
1.8. Service Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available; however, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of: Maintenance, Software updates, Internet or network problems, Hosting provider issues, Third-party services, Security incidents, Equipment failures, Circumstances outside our reasonable control.
1.9. No Guarantee of Results
Start Right Systems provides tools intended to improve HVAC equipment documentation, communication, accountability, and recordkeeping. However, Start Right Systems does not guarantee any particular result from using the Service.
1.10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." Start Right Systems disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot lawfully be disclaimed.
1.11. Intellectual Property
The Start Right Systems platform, software, website, branding, logos, graphics, designs, workflows, features, and related technology are owned by or licensed to Start Right Systems and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the Service only for its intended business purposes.
1.12. Third Party Services
Start Right Systems may use third-party providers for services such as: Payment processing, Hosting, Email, Cloud storage, Mapping or address services, Authentication, Analytics, Shipping.
1.13. Changes to Services
Start Right Systems may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue portions of the Service from time to time. We may also update these Terms as our business, technology, or legal requirements change. If material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Service, email, or another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
